Welcome to the website. I have been taking photos for a long time and I attend a lot of car hobby events where I'm estimating I've taken in the hundreds of thousands of digital photos. After some urging from my artist wife I have altered some of the more interesting photos into what you see on this site. Is this lowbrow art, pop surrealism, contemporary art or just digital art? I don't know but my best guess is digital art. I used a digital camera and then altered the crisp glossy photos in photoshop - and an old version with no added filters or actions. I'm not asking a lot for them - just $45 for a frameable 8" by 10" print and that includes mailing to anywhere in the 48 states. This is the original hood ornament on a 1955 Nash Ambassador Custom Lemans. I altered both the colors and texture of the photography. This piece won Second Place in the March 2011 Through the Lens Photography Show at Petersburg Regional Art Center.
